Explore the Malaysian Education System
Malaysia offers a diversity of institutions modeled on the Anglo-Saxon system, ensuring flexibility and global recognition.
Public Universities (IPTA)
Institutions like the University of Malaya (UM) or Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) are the flagship of national research. Historically reserved for locals, they are increasingly opening Master's and Doctoral programs to French-speaking expatriates, offering extremely competitive tuition fees for top-tier teaching quality.
Private Sector (IPTS)
Taylor’s, Sunway, or Asia Pacific University (APU). These campuses resemble miniature cities with cutting-edge facilities: film studios, AI labs, and Olympic sports centers.
Foreign Branch Campuses
Earn a degree from Monash (Australia), the University of Nottingham (UK), or Heriot-Watt without leaving Malaysia. It's the best value for money: the same degree as in London or Melbourne, for a third of the price.
TVET & Vocational Schools
For expatriates seeking a quick career change, Malaysian polytechnic institutes offer technical certifications in hospitality, engineering, and digital design, often in direct partnership with local industry.

Upon arrival, you will undergo a mandatory medical examination to finalize your residence permit and obtain your i-Kad (expatriate identity card).
The MQA Guarantee: A World-Class Standard
One of Malaysia's greatest assets is the rigor of its Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA). This government body audits every program to ensure it meets the highest international standards.
- European Equivalence: Malaysian degrees are widely recognized for further studies in France, Belgium, or Switzerland.
- International Accreditations: AACSB for business, Washington Accord for engineering.
- Quality Assurance: Regular checks of infrastructure and pedagogy.
